Wang Yicheng, a former leader of the Thai-Chinese Trade Association, has been identified as a key figure in the implicated Chinese investor group. Previously, a 2023 Reuters investigation focused on him, revealing that a U.S. blockchain analytics company had identified cryptocurrency wallets linked to fraudulent activities that had transferred millions of dollars to accounts under Wang Yicheng's name.
