Viridian Therapeutics announced that its innovative drug Lumvoa™ (generic name: veligrotug-vvze) has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and officially launched for the treatment of Thyroid Eye Disease (TED).
This approval marks a significant advancement for Viridian Therapeutics in the field of ophthalmic treatments. Lumvoa™ is a biologic targeting specific targets, and its approval offers a new treatment option for patients with thyroid eye disease. Base mainnet experiences its second outage in two days and has now resumed.
Odaily reported that Base experienced a mainnet block production anomaly for the second time in two days. According to the official status page, the incident occurred at 15:33 UTC, with the team confirming the issue and resuming block production at 16:11. Base stated that node operators need to restart Base mainnet nodes to complete resynchronization. This incident displayed symptoms similar to the previous day’s outage. On Thursday, an abnormal block caused the Sequencer to be unable to continue constructing new blocks, resulting in the network being down for about two hours. Although user funds were not affected, withdrawal services were temporarily interrupted. The official announcement indicated that the latest failure also manifested as a chain halt, sharing key characteristics with the previous day’s incident. The network has now resumed operation.
