Golden Ten Data June 18|On Tuesday, BMW significantly lowered its 2026 performance guidance, citing weak demand in the Chinese market and restructuring provisions for its European operations. BMW reduced its automotive business EBIT margin forecast by 300 basis points and cut its automotive business free cash flow forecast by 2 billion euros. Dragged down by this news, BMW's share price plunged over 8% in a single day, reaching its lowest level in nearly six years. However, the Goldman Sachs analyst team pointed out that despite the seemingly negative news, they believe the share price drop is an overreaction. Goldman Sachs lowered BMW's target price from 107 euros to 84 euros, but maintained a "buy" rating.
