"White-haired Stock God" Serenity: Three months ago, the market was generally bearish on storage; it is advised to break out of the narrative and think independently
Odaily reported that "White-haired stock god" Serenity posted on the X platform, stating that three months ago the market held a generally bearish outlook on the storage sector, yet since then, multiple storage-related assets have seen significant increases: 1. Micron Technology: $380 → $1,122 (+195.26%); 2. SanDisk: $565 → $2,155 (+281.42%); 3. MSCI: $132 → $219 (+65.91%); 4. SK Hynix: 849 thousand KRW → 2.685 million KRW (+215.5%); 5. Samsung Electronics: 172 thousand KRW → 362 thousand KRW (+110.7%). Serenity added that if the market starts seeing highly extended optimistic predictions such as "Samsung will become the world's most profitable company in 2028," investors may need to try to think independently and break away from the current narrative framework—for example, similar to previous theme rotations like "oil, LNG, helium, Iran." At present, similar logic may be unfolding in the optics/photonics sector. Photonics and storage are two core themes and possibly still in the "early stage of a super cycle."
